Cookie Policy

Information about using this website and contacting Next Step Staffing.

About this policy

Effective October 5, 2026. This policy explains the cookies used by the Next Step Staffing website. Cookies are small text files a browser stores for a website. Our current site uses essential cookies only; we do not use analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or embedded third-party media. Fonts and images are served with the website.

Remembering the cookie notice

nss_cookie_notice is a first-party cookie set when you select “Continue with necessary cookies.” It remembers that you have seen the current notice for up to 180 days, unless you clear it sooner. It contains a notice-version number, not your name, contact information, or a unique advertising identifier. Acknowledging this notice does not authorize future optional tracking.

Protecting inquiry forms

nssc_session is a first-party security cookie used when online inquiry forms are enabled. It helps validate submissions and expires one hour after it is created. It is not an advertising cookie. When online intake is disabled, the form service does not create this cookie. Preventing this cookie may stop online submissions from working.

WordPress sign-in cookies

People signing in to administer the website may also receive WordPress cookies such as wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-*, and wp_lang. These support authentication, security, language, or administrative preferences; they are not required simply to read the public pages. Their lifetimes depend on the cookie and sign-in settings. See WordPress’s cookie documentation.

Your controls

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to reopen the notice. There are no optional cookie categories to enable or disable on the current site. You can inspect, block, or delete cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. Deleting the notice cookie makes the popup appear again. If browser storage is blocked, you can still dismiss the popup for the current page, but it may return on another page. With JavaScript disabled, this policy remains available and the popup does not run.

Hosting, external links, and future changes

The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the website. These server records are separate from cookies; see our Privacy Policy. External websites have their own cookie practices. If optional services are introduced, this policy and the cookie controls must be updated before those services are used where consent is required.
